Draw the Head
Start by drawing a wide, smooth oval lying horizontally on your paper for the cat's chubby head.

Add the Ears
Draw two curved triangles on top of the head, then add smaller lines inside each one to make the inner ears.

Draw the Face
Add two small circular eyes with tiny white shine spots, and draw a cute, rounded 'w' shape in the center for the nose and mouth.

Add Whiskers
Draw three short, straight lines extending outwards on each cheek to give your kitten sweet little whiskers.

Outline the Body
Draw a rounded oval shape directly beneath the head to form the cat's sitting body.

Add two curved vertical lines inside the lower part of the body that hook at the bottom to form front paws.

Draw two rounded loops on the outer edges near the bottom to show the cat's tucked-in back feet.

Sketch a smooth, curved tail curling upward from the right side of the body.

Clean Up Outlines
Erase the overlapping pencil lines between the paws and body so your sitting cat drawing looks clean and complete.
